The Montessori Hub is a Community platform for Community Voice. The project aims to accelerate early childhood development gains by enhancing the multi-sectoral approach to young children’s nurturing care.
This project supports a coordinated approach of various ECD actors to address the holistic developmental needs of children aged 0 – 8 years through Montessori values. The project is M.C.T‘s efforts to implement The National Multi-sectoral Early Childhood Development Programme (NM – ECDP) spanning 2021/22 to 2025/26.
The Hub is crucial as it equips ECD actors, parents, and caregivers with practical tools and Montessori techniques to help them bring up a self-disciplined child through connecting and listening, correcting misconceptions, and providing advice on positive parenting.
As a result, the Hub is building a strong healthy relationship between the parent and the child. It offers solutions to the daily parenting problems and challenges in child behavior based on Montessori pedagogy that brings the best out of children. The Montessori Hub program includes interactive, skills-based parenting education and support.
Programs take place at our partner sites — such as childcare centers or community centers — so parents can come together right in their communities.
