Montessori Challenge Fund

1.  Are you Montessori Trained/Caregiver and want to own your own Daycare Centre or Kindergarten?
2. Do you have an existing Montessori Daycare Center or Kindergarten that requires renovations?

The Montessori Community of Tanzania (MCT) through support from The Arthur Waser Foundation supports capable and committed Montessori teachers in Tanzania with Challenge Funds. These Challenge Funds are used to finance new model Montessori kindergartens and renovations and extensions to existing daycare centers.

Applicants must meet the following conditions and submit the documents along with Challenge Fund Agreement.

1. Montessori Trained person (for children of 3-6 years; submit the certificate).
2. Active MCT member for not less than three years. (paid membership fee not less than three years; attach receipts)
3. Working experience with children not less than five years. (reference letter from a reliable person)
4. Ownership of land: Title deed in your name and for education purposes only. (submit the Title deed)
5. Cost of the project and Designs from the Montessori Architecture – Submit the document
6. Ready to contribute 10% cash of the construction cost
7. Challenge Fund Signed contract

Financial Support provided will be a maximum of USD 50,000 | TZS 125,000,000. Interested candidates can apply by email along with above mentioned documents.
