Launching

June 2, 2025 marked the official opening of the AMI Montessori 3–6 Diploma Course at Msimbazi Training Centre, Dar es Salaam, a milestone in advancing quality early childhood education in Tanzania and the region.

This internationally recognised course, rooted in Montessori child-centered pedagogy, prepares adults to support the development of children aged 3 to 6 with respect, independence, and a deep understanding of human potential.

Participants were warmly welcomed and introduced to the dedicated training team, led by Vikki Taylor, the Director of Training. We were especially honoured to have Mr. Michael Sungusia, Programme Manager at the Montessori Community of Tanzania (MCT), as the Guest of Honour. His address highlighted the transformative impact of AMI-trained Montessori educators in building peaceful and resilient communities.

We look forward to witnessing the growth of a new generation of prepared adults, committed to serving the child and promoting the values of dignity, curiosity, and lifelong learning.
